Join our community of South Australians advocating for a LGBTIQA+ healthy, safe and inclusive South Australia.
Becoming a SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance member allows your organisation to:
- Connect with a community of like minded LGBTIQA+ South Australians
- Take meaningful action to have a positive impact for LGBTIQA+ South Australians
- Contribute to SARAA’s advocacy
- Be kept informed about LGBTIQA+ issues
- Show support for SARAA’s work
Organisation membership is for not-for-profit organisations or community groups who support SARAA’s vision and objectives and actively work to promote the health, safety, inclusion and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ South Australians as determined by the Board.
Organisation members can appoint from its members a representative who can speak and vote on its behalf.
Organisation members have the following rights:
- to receive notices of and attend any general meeting of SARAA;
- to be heard at any general meeting of SARAA;
- to vote at any general meeting of SARAA.
Associate membership is available to not-for-profit organisations who support SARAA’s vision and objectives (but do not otherwise qualify for Organisation membership), and for-profit organisations, Government bodies and local councils who support SARAA’s vision and objectives.
Associate members have the right to receive notices of and attend any general meeting of SARAA, however, they do NOT have the right to vote at any general meeting including AGM.
Membership is for organisations who support the vision and objectives of the SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance, as outlined in our constitution.
Here at SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance we know that our advocacy is more powerful when it’s fuelled by your stories.
Becoming a SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance member gives you a say in decisions about LGBTIQA+ rights and strengthens our ability to be a powerful voice for LGBTIQA+ South Australians.
Your membership is valid until the end of the next financial year.
Types of membership
Individual membership is for people who support the vision and values of the SA
Rainbow Advocacy Alliance. You can register as an Individual Member here.
Organisation membership is for organisations who support and agree to promote the vision and values of SARAA. Cost of Organisation and Associate membership is based on your organisation’s overall revenue. In 2023, Organisation and Associate membership fees are:
- $10 for organisations with an annual revenue of less than $10,000
- $20 for organisations with an annual revenue of less than $20,000
- $50 for organisations with an annual revenue of less than $100,000
- $100 for organisations with an annual revenue of less than $200,000
- $250 for organisations with an annual revenue of less than $500,000
- $300 for organisations with an annual revenue of less than $1,000,000
- $500 for organisations with an annual revenue of MORE than $1,000,000.
