We celebrate our diverse communities and create spaces where everyone thrives regardless of who they are.

SARAA (South Australian Rainbow Advocacy Alliance) is excited to invite businesses, Government, NGO’s, education settings, social, community or sporting groups, or a gathering of friends, to hold an event in person or online for IDAHOBIT 2023 on Wednesday 17th May. IDAHOBIT is the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexphobia and Transphobia.
LGBTQIA+ people in Australia still experience disproportionate rates of bullying, harassment and discrimination. Host an IDAHOBIT event in person or online in your workplace or community group to learn more about the discrimination our community still faces and how allies can make active change to support and improve the health and well-being of LGBTIQA+ people.
Thanks to support from The Department of Human Services, SARAA has produced a ‘Rainbow Realities II: Listen, Speak Up, Stand Up!’ video that can be viewed at your event to create awareness and start a conversation about LGBTIQA+ discrimination and what allies can do to create positive change and support the LGBTQA+ community.
