South Australians are rallying to protect trans youth healthcare following bans in Queensland and Northern Territory.
The QLD LNP Government has announced a pause on gender affirming medical treatment for young people aged 18 years or younger, leaving 491 young people accessing services in limbo.
The Minister’s decision halted evidence-based healthcare for 491 young people and their families – many who have been on the waiting list for months, and even years.
Many took to the street outside parliament house with flags, banners, streamers, and signs.
