The Office of Local Government is conducting statewide consultation on a new Community Engagement Charter (the Charter) that councils will be required to comply with.
We provided a submission arguing that inclusive communities are a precursor to effective community engagement processes and encoured local government to pursue awareness and inclusion initiatives to build positive community relationships and effectively engage with cohorts at risk of being left behind.
