Support trans peer support in South Australia

TransFemmeSA and TransMascSA are two grassroots community groups offering vital peer support and social connection for trans and gender-diverse South Australians.

Over the last decade, these groups have empowered hundreds of individuals to live authentically and thrive.

From navigating names and pronouns to updating legal identities and accessing gender-affirming healthcare, TransFemme and TransMasc are there every step of the way. Their in-person meet-ups and online groups provide practical support to help trans people navigate life with confidence.

But here’s the reality: These essential groups receive no funding. They rely on the dedication (and back pockets) of a small team of volunteers who know how life-changing this space is for their community.

Your donation helps TransMasc and TransFemme continue to provide vital peer support:

  • $20 covers the phone bill for one month
  • $35 provides catering for a peer support session
  • $77 provides a chest binder to a trans masculine person
  • $250 trains a peer facilitator to provide mental health support
  • $370 is the fee to update an identity document

100% of funds go directly to powering TransFemme and TransMasc’s peer support initiatives. Plus, your contribution is tax-deductible with support of SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance.

Your generosity will help trans and gender-diverse South Australians get the support they need to thrive.

Donations to TransMascSA and TransFemmeSA are auspiced by SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance (SARAA) (ABN: 34 254 826 976), a charity endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient.

Donations of $2 or more to SARAA are tax deductible in Australia.
