Community consultation and co-design to develop a community-controlled and place-based LGBTIQA+ network in Adelaide’s northern suburbs
About the project
Feeling supported, connected, and welcomed by fellow LGBTIQA+ people in your local community makes a huge difference to wellbeing and a sense of belonging.
That is why AnglicareSA Community Connections North, the Queer Society, and the South Australian Rainbow Advocacy Alliance are looking for LGBTQIA+ community members who are interested in creating or participating in safe, vibrant spaces where LGBTIQA+ people in Northern Adelaide can thrive.
This initiative will be fully community-led – designed for, by, and with LGBTIQA+ people living in the northern suburbs. To ensure it reflects what matters most to you, we are hosting community consultation sessions across October 2026 to hear your ideas, experiences, and priorities.
