SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance are proud to present Rainbow Realities: LGBTIQA+ Experiences of Discrimination in South Australia.
Released on International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), the film features 4 LGBTIQA+ South Australians discussing their lived and living experiences of discrimination and how we can take action against it.
The film coincides with and commemorates the 50th anniversary of the death of Dr George Ian Ogilvie Duncan, who’s murder allegedly at the hands of police officers was a major catalyst for law reform across Australia to decriminalise homosexuality.
By sharing our stories, we invite you to listen, learn and reflect so we can work together to make South Australia a safe and more inclusive place.
